Faculty of Education (FED), HUST has been dedicated to delivering high-quality training and research in engineering pedagogy, educational technology, educational management, and quality assurance. Faculty of Foreign Languages (FOFL) has been a cornerstone of linguistic and cultural education since its establishment in 1956. The Faculty offers two undergraduate programs: Bachelor of English in Science, Engineering, and Technology (FL1), and Bachelor of International Professional English (FL2). Each year, the Faculty educates over 1,000 students, including those pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English with a specialization in Science, Engineering, and Technology. FOFL’s commitment to international collaboration is exemplified by the launch of the International Professional English (IPE) program. Initiated in the 2010-2011 academic year with support from the UK government, this program was formally introduced in 2011, marking a significant milestone in the faculty’s efforts to provide technology-integrated English language training. The IPE program is designed to equip students with globally recognized competencies, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of the global workforce.
